Skwizzo® Block Jam — Every block has its exit

Every block has its exit

Skwizzo Block Jam is a sliding block puzzle, and the whole rule fits in one sentence: a block leaves only through the opening that matches its colour. The board starts full, the exits sit on the edges, and there is always something else in the way. You are not placing pieces — you are undoing a jam: move whatever can move, clear the path, and walk out the block that was walled in a moment earlier.

Skwizzo® Block Jam — The order of your moves is the whole game

The order of your moves is the whole game

You drag a block toward the edge and it slides away, if the way ahead is clear. The catch is that the pieces jam each other: the same move that opens one road closes another, and the sequence matters more than any single flash of insight. Every level has its own clock and your best record stays written beside it, so the second run is never a repeat of the first: you already know where to go, and now you are after the shortest way.

Skwizzo® Block Jam — A thousand levels, and a game that waits for you

A thousand levels, and a game that waits for you

No level is randomly generated: they are designed by hand, one by one, and ordered so the difficulty genuinely climbs level after level instead of jumping. You start with three pieces and a single move, just enough to learn the gesture, and end up on full grids where one wrong move closes the only good road. Nothing around that progression is in a hurry: lives refill on their own, block skins unlock by playing, and linking a Google account carries your levels from one phone to the next — though playing requires no sign-up at all.

Skwizzo® Block Jam — Mechanics and power-ups

Mechanics and power-ups

The game does not explain everything up front: it introduces one element at a time and lets it settle. One-way blocks that slide in a single direction, layers to strip away before the piece underneath will move, linked blocks that leave together, locked gates with the key somewhere on the grid, ropes to cut, exits reserved for whoever picked up the star, and bombs counting the seconds down without waiting for you. For when the jam really closes up there are three power-ups: freeze, which stops the clock for ten seconds; hammer, which takes out the block you choose; magnet, which clears every block of one colour. Purchases are optional and everything else unlocks by playing: Skwizzo Block Jam is in development for mobile, starting with Android, and we will publish the release date here before anywhere else.
